Even if the actual show sucks, the standing ovation this guy gets will be worth it.
On June 14, 2014, Tracy Morgan was riding in his tour bus when it was rear-ended by a tractor-trailer. The resulting collision killed his good friend, comedian James McNair, and left Morgan with a serious brain injury that had some observers wondering if he'd ever perform again.
That's the sad part of this story.
Now here's the happy part: today, Saturday Night Live announced and Tracy Morgan confirmed that he will make his triumphant return to television as the host of venerable sketch comedy show on October 17, just 16 months after the accident.
