A newborn baby dies at just six days old after his devastated parents claim they waited two hours for a midwife who never showed up to their home when he became seriously ill

A hospital  investigating the death of a newborn baby after his distraught parents claim they waited more than two hours for a midwife to arrive at their home when he was ill.
Colby Risso was born to 16 year-old mother Caitlin Walsh two weeks ago, after a problematic labour.
Immediately after the birth Ms Walsh and her partner Jack Risso, 19, noticed the left side of their son's face was droopy and his eye would not open properly.
Despite this, they were sent home from hospital at 11.30pm the day after the birth,
They claim they were told by hospital midwives that Colby would be checked out, but heard nothing more about the problem and assumed everything was fine.
When he was four days old, a midwife visited the family home and said Colby was in good health.

But a day later he woke from a sleep and milk started gushing milk out of his nose.
Panicking, Ms Walsh called the midwife who promised to be there within two hours - but she never arrived.
After an hour-and-a-half Colby became listless and as his parents cuddled him.
He then gave a sudden gasp stopped breathing.
The couple called 999 and an ambulance arrived in 11 minutes, rushing him back to Milton Keynes Hospital, Buckinghamshire
