Meanwhile, PCA Benevolent Fund continue to run a confidential counselling service, offering advice and treatment to players suffering from debilitating issues, either mentally or physically.
The 2015 appeal has already been kick-started thanks to the generosity of Surrey County Cricket Club and supporters from around the globe who have donated £10,000 whilst purchasing tickets for Cricket United Day.

This year's Cricket United Day will take place on Saturday August 22, day three of the fifth Test, with fans of both sides encouraged to wear as much blue as possible.
England have secured the urn this year after successive three-day victories at Edgbaston and Trent Bridge gave them an unassailable 3-1 lead.
Still, while in the spirit of Cricket United the fifth Test will be friendly, it is certain not to lose its competitive edge. England all-rounder Stuart Broad recently spoke of his 'burning desire' to finish the series in style with a 4-1 victory.
