Josh Duggar in 2014, speaking in favor the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act in Little Rock, Ark. |
He continues: "The last few years, while publicly stating I was fighting against immorality in our country, I was hiding my own personal failings."
osh, of course, had spent years as an ardent lobbyist against abortion rights and gay marriage for a politically powerful conservative group, the Family Research Council . He resigned when the sexual molestation news broke.
He and his wife Anna recently welcomed their fourth child.
Update: The apology has since been amended several times, deleting the reference to his porn addiction, as The Wrap spotted. He also changed the passive "I became unfaithful to my wife" to "I have been unfaithful to my wife."
