The Christian rehab where Josh Duggar will spend six months 'reading the Bible, praying and doing manual labor' to cure sex addiction

For the next six months, Josh Duggar will be 'protected from the elements of life' as he participates in a Christian rehab treatment program at Reformers Unanimous in Rockford, Illinois.
The 27-year-old, who has confessed to cheating on his wife Anna and signing up for the infidelity website Ashley Madison, will spend his time reading the Bible, doing manual work and praying at the residential facility.
There's no access to email or cell phones and only a limited amount of television is allowed at the center where men are placed two to a room and must attend regular chapel services.

It's a far cry from his life as a TV reality star and respected conservative Christian family values spokesperson in Washington, D.C. and is designed to bring an end to his sordid secret life as a porn addict and unfaithful husband.
According to People, it costs $7,500 for a six month stay at the facility that boasts an 80 percent success rate in treating drug and alcohol addiction.
The focus of the program is to bring the patients to faith in Jesus and nurture 'the relationship with Christ necessary to enjoy their freedom from the power of sin,' according to the Reformers Unanimous website.

'We deal with everything from a sin standpoint,' Tony Richardson, director of development with Reformers told People.
'We call it to the school of discipleship. The closer you get to the Lord, the further you get from what brought you here,' he added.
Citing patient confidentiality, Richardson would not confirm or deny Josh is a patient at the rehab center.
However, the Duggars have a connection with Reformers Unanimous and the treatment facility that's linked with the North Love Baptist Church, which also runs a Christian school.
Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, Josh's parents, attended the Reformers national conference there last October and gave a keynote address.
Richardson told People that the 19 Kids And Counting couple have referred clients to them in the past.

Josh Duggar, who has four children from his seven year marriage to wife Anna, entered rehab on Tuesday night.
The Gawker website learned that his younger brother John David has a pilot's licence and a plane and that he flew from Springfield, Arkansas, to Rockford and back again on August 24.
On Wednesday, the Duggar family confirmed Josh had entered rehab and said they were 'deeply grieved' by his 'decisions and actions.'
'His wrong choices have deeply hurt his precious wife and children and have negatively affected so many others. He has also brought great insult to the values and faith we hold dear,' the statement posted on their Facebook page said.
'For him it will be a long journey toward wholeness and recovery. We pray that in this he comes to complete repentance and sincere change.'

It's the second trip to rehab for the eldest Duggar son.
In 2003 he spent three months at a faith-based rehab facility in Little Rock, Arkansas, owned by the Institute in Basic Life Principles, a Christian ministry and training program founded by Bill Gothard, a Duggar family friend.
Jim Bob and Michelle sent their then 15-year-old son there to undergo physical labor and counseling after he admitted to them that he had inappropriately touched five underage girls, including sisters Jill and Jessa, in the breast and genital region.
When the allegations of sexual abuse became public earlier this year it led to the cancellation of the family's hugely successful reality TV show 19 Kids And Counting by network TLC.
