Two snakes go head to head in epic s-s-stand off

Two hissing snakes fought an extraordinary public battle on a busy road as cars and lorries drove past.
The python and a cobra were locked in a deadly embrace on a university campus in Singapore, quickly attracting a crowd of fascinated onlookers.
Footage of the mortal combat at Nanyang Technological University proved a big hit when it was uploaded onto the college’s social media sites.

The video shows a giant python desperately trying to wriggle free from the grip of a king cobra.
The python, one of the world’s largest snakes that can grow to nearly 23 feet, slithers around trying to free itself from the cobra’s deadly grip.
As the duo tussle, the python manages to suddenly turn over the cobra and then break free before it quickly slithers off into the freedom of the bushes.
There was no such luck for the cobra though, as students had called the emergency services and it was picked up and bagged by pest control officers.

Pythons are not normally dangerous to humans and are non-venomous.
They are known to slowly squeeze their victims to death before eating them whole, whereas cobras are venomous.
Many people posted comments on social media platforms and users were advised to be alert when taking walks near the bushes or running, particularly at night.
