The Blind date star's funeral is taking place now in Liverpool. She will be buried later next to her parentsToday Cilla Black will be laid to rest in her beloved hometown of Liverpool.
The showbiz legend, 72, died earlier this month at her home in Estepona , Southern Spain after a fall caused her to have a stroke.
Cilla’s sons Robert, Jack and Ben were met with cheers as they left the funeral home.
The hearse was adorned with numerous floral tributes – including her name spelt out in red roses.
Hundreds of fans have lined the street to watch the cortege.
The ceremony started at 1pm in the same church the star married her husband Bobby.
Cilla’s coffin was carried into the church as Claude Debussy’s Clair de Lune was played.
The congregation started sining All Things Bright and Beautiful before Sir Cliff Richard took to the alter to pay tribute to Cilla and sing The Faithful One.
Christopher Biggins did the second reading from the Book of Wisdom 3:1-9.
Jimmy Tarbuck said Scottie Road would be proud during his reading.
Cilla's son Ben also stepped up and became emotional as he gave his reading.
The final reading came from Paul O’Grady, who had the congregation in stitches with his anecdotes.
Fittingly for the daughter of Liverpool, The Beatles' hit The Long And Winding Road was played as her coffin was carried out.
Cilla will be buried alongside her parents in a private service at Allerton Cemetery .
